Ben Albright joined the IIABL team in November 2020 shadowing his predecessor for 3 years before officially taking on the role of President and CEO in January 2024.  Ben oversees the strategic implementation of the association's plans, ensuring alignment with its goals. He plays a key role in managing legislative, regulatory, and industry affairs, fostering strong relationships with members, and guiding the work of IIABL boards, committees, and task forces. Ben grew up in Baton Rouge and is a graduate of Louisiana State University triple majoring in Economics, Political Science, Psychology and minoring in French.  Ben and his girlfriend Emily reside in Baton Rouge with their two fur babies, Maggie and Daisy.
