AGENCY MEMBERSHIP
Qualifications:
In order to be a member of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Louisiana, an insurance agency must meet the following criteria: - The insurance agency must have a current resident agent license to sell property and casualty insurance with the Louisiana Department of Insurance;
- The insurance agency must represent at least one independent property and casualty insurance company on a commission basis for their own account, and be legally authorized to represent more than one independent insurance company;
- The insurance agency must have completed the IIABL membership application and paid the appropriate membership dues.

| ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIPQualifications:Organizations that are not retail independent insurance agencies and are therefore not eligible to be an Agency Member, but have business interests in the business of insurance, and wish to be affiliated with the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Louisiana. Associate membership shall be available to, but not limited to, insurance brokers, life insurance agencies, wholesale and surplus lines brokers, insurance companies, and other entities that provide goods or services to members of IIABL or who demonstrate a business interest in the insurance industry. Any organization which qualifies to be an Agency Member or Branch Member cannot be an Associate Member. Benefits:
